Pork Ribs in Tomato Gravy Recipe |
|
Country-style pork ribs are braised in a tomato, onion, and garlic gravy. Serve over pasta for a simple meal that will stick to your ribs. It may seem like a lot of onions and garlic, but the cooking method brings out the sweetness of the onions and nutty flavor of the garlic. Most of the garlic and onion melt into the gravy. You'll be amazed at the flavor of this dish, considering there are so few ingredients.

If you love Buffalo wings, you will love this dip. All the flavors from one of America's favorite appetizers come together in a no-muss hot dip. Use canned chicken, rotisserie chicken from the deli, or your own leftover cooked chicken. Serve hot with celery sticks, crackers, veggies or all three. This could not be easier to throw together and tips are included for microwave, slow cooker, and tailgating.

Meatball Sliders Recipe |
|
Meatball Sliders Recipe© 2010 Peggy Trowbridge Filippone
These meatball sliders go quick at parties, and they are such an easy appetizer to make. You may use frozen meatballs from the market or your own homemade meatballs. Here I have used economical hot dog buns cut into thirds, but if you would like to make your own slider buns, feel free. You may also substitute dinner rolls, but the hot dog buns are the perfect size for a meatball. I used provolone cheese, but mozzarella is perfectly fine. You can make these earlier in the day and pop them into the oven when you need them. They only take 15 minutes to toast.

Leaving your job? Don't forget your 401(k) |
|
Question: I'm in my 30's and have a 401(k) from a previous job, 75% of which is invested in a variety of stock portfolios. Although my stock holdings have recovered a bit recently, I'm still down about ,000 from my peak balance. I'm planning to roll over this old 401(k) into either the 401(k) at my new job or into an IRA account, but I'm wondering whether I should do the rollover now while stocks are still cheap or wait until the market has recovered and then do it. What do think? --Todd Gerecke, Lynden, Washington
